Lectors
Lectors are lay-individuals who help proclaim the word of God by assisting the Priest with scheduled readings during the liturgy at Sunday Mass, Weekday Masses and Holy Days of Obligation. This important ministry helps lead the parish community by clearly reading the 'Word of God' and leading prayers and responses during worship celebrations.
All Catholics in good standing, that are high school age
or older and unafraid to speak before large crowds
are eligible to serve as lectors.
